Knitting & Crocheting

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

NOTE: Entries must be picked up Saturday after 9:00 p.m. or Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

​

1. All knitted and crocheted articles MUST be entered on the Sunday before the Fair between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

2. Exhibitors MUST have only one entry in each Lot number.

3. All articles MUST be the work of the exhibitor and not shown previously in the Delta Fair.

4. All articles MUST be tagged with exhibitor’s name, type of material, and size of needle used in construction.

5. Removal of article from building must have approval of someone in charge of the knitting booth.

6. Ribbons and prize money will be given. A Rosette (ribbon) will be given for Best of Show in both knitting and crocheting divisions. Only one First, Second, and Third place per lot.

7. Decision of the judges will be final. Judges will not be required to give award unless article merits it.

8. There will be no entry fee.

9. Scoring will be based on the following point system:

• Suitable to purpose … 30 points

• Construction and workmanship … 35 points

• Combination of materials … 20 points

• General appearance … 15 points
